Managing Partner
Having graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1993, Mr Por was called to the Bar in 1994. Mr Por started as a pupil with the firm and has since become the Managing Partner of TAN LEE & PARTNERS. He has been involved in the evolution of the firm to its present form in recent years. Mr Por has been actively involved in spearheading changes in the firm, and in particular, has successfully been building up the firm’s Litigation/Arbitration as well as Corporate practices. He has extensive experience in litigation, having acted successfully in matters before the Court of Appeal as well as the High Court , and has also often been involved in Arbitration. In particular, he is actively involved in the expansion of the firm’s substantial practice relating to Building and Construction Disputes. Mr Por has also advised and acted for international and/or government linked clients in a wide range of corporate matters, including cross-border transactions. He has significant experience in insolvency and corporate/debt restructuring work. Mr Por is also a qualified Adjudicator.
